Aveeno Bath & Shower Oil both soothes and moisturizes dry skin.
The Power of Oatmeal:
Naturally active colloidal oatmeal has several powerful properties in helping to manage dry skin.
Moisturises skin: Oat proteins leave a protective barrier on the skin, which prevents water loss to help maintain moisture.
Cleanses dry skin: Oatmeal milled into an ultra-fine powder will adhere to dirt and oil on the skins surface, which can then be gently rinsed away, helping to cleanse and relieve dry skin.
Soothes dry, irritated skin: Colloidal oatmeal combined with skin protectors has been proven to relieve dry skin and associated itching.
Aveeno Oil contains:
Paraffinum Liquidum, Helianthusannuus, Diethylhexyladipate, sorbet-40 hexaoleate, avenastiva, silica, synthetic beeswax, parfum, triclosan, PEG -5 cocomonium methosulfate, ascorbylpalmaitate, tocopherylacetate.

For orders under £40 in value we charge £3.49 for UK mainland delivery,
regardless of weight and size. The vast majority of orders (over 90%)
are despatched either on the same working day or the following working
day. A signature is required on receipt. Our standard delivery option
includes packaging, handling, delivery insurance and Royal Mail 1st
Class recorded delivery postal costs.
To ensure patient safety, private prescription orders are despatched via a
courier delivery service and are not eligible for free delivery.
For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there
is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.

I love this product. It does the job; cleans well, smells mild and lovely, washes off well yet leave the skin moisturised and calm. I use this on my face too and it doesn't dry skin out at all. Of course this is just my personal opinion and given that we're all different others may not find the product quite as ideal as I do. I dislike soap, shower gels etc so I find this product perfect. It does not lather, I like that about it - you may not. For me it's fab. Full marks. ..

I started using Aveeno products a few years ago after 3 attacks of Cellulitis at approx. 6-year intervals. My doctor supected that my dry-skin condition was allowing bacteria to enter the body. (Normal entry point is via. a skin-wound which was not apparent in 2 of my 3 cases). The doctor recommended Aveeno Cream to improve skin condition. Applying the cream proved time-consuming & so I changed over to the Aveeno shower-oil. Have not got to the 6-year interval as yet, but must be getting close. Have rated the product highly as (up to now) there has been no re-occurrence of Cellulitis, which is most painful & potentially serious. ..

Aveeno Bath & Shower Oil is great for kids with sensitive skin. We have used this with our daughter since she was about 1 year old and we've seen a big reduction in the outbreaks of dry skin. Aveeno Bath & Shower Oil smells nice too and is not oily. ..

I have been using this oil and the Aveeno on myself, and my son now for over a week, as wee both have developed quite bad eczema.
Well after only just over a week oyr skin is much softer, we have barely itched since, and the ezcema is starting to clear away without any steroids.
It really does what it says on the can.
Also Chemistdirect's prices are reasonable, ..
