La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP is indicated for use on extremely dry, irritated skin (children and adults). Its non-greasy veil-like formula contains a high concentration of shea butter (20%), known for its healing, lipid-replenishing properties. Free of fragrance and parabens. It has been demonstrated to be very well tolerated by very dry, irritable skin (children and adults).

Lipikar Baume AP is fantastic on my skin. It leaves it so silky soft. I have suffered extreme eczema 34 years and this is the first product that I have found that is practical and lasting for its purpose in the same respect as an ointment. It has the added benefit of no greasy side effects which ointment has. Whilst it is pricey, I find with my overall condition, flare-ups are less, anti-histamine and topical steroid usage is less. Again these are personal and life changing benefits which far out-way the price of Lipikar Baume AP. My overall synopsis of this product from a quality and performance perspective is that it is effective for eczema. It soothes eczema, lessens itch, has efficient absorbency, no greasy clothes so no clogged up washing machine, it lessens medication consumption. These qualities make this product in my eyes excellent value for money. ..
