Philip’s Smartimer® Technology encourages Doctor recommended 2-minute brushing time

Your Philips HX6932/10 Soincare toothbrush comes with smartimer, which encourages 2-minute brushing as recommended by dental professionals. The Smartimer automatically stops your Sonicare toothbrush after the dentist-recommended brushing time of 2 minutes has elapsed. If you switch the toothbrush off at any time during the brushing cycle, for instance to rinse or apply more toothpaste, the Smartimer interrupts its timing and resumes where it left off when you switch the appliance back on again.

Although a 2-minute brushing session is recommended for optimal results, you can always stop or restart the toothbrush at any time by pressing the power button. When the handle is placed in the charger, the Smartimer automatically resets to ensure a complete 2-minute brushing cycle the next time you use it. The Smartimer also resets itself if you stop your Sonicare toothbrush for more than 45 seconds.

Philip’s Quadpacer® 30-second interval timer encourages even brushing

Philip’s HX6932/10 Quadpacer feature beeps at 30-second intervals during the 2-minute brushing period, telling you when to move the toothbrush to the next section, thus making sure that you brush all sections of your mouth evenly and thoroughly. The Quadpacer takes the guesswork out of when to move the brush from the outside of the teeth to the inside, and from the upper teeth to the lower teeth.
